Since 2014, SKS Trading, headquartered in Tournai, has grown into a leading force in the lead-acid battery sector. At the heart of this success lies its exclusive partnership with Taiwanese brand LCB Battery, renowned for its reliability and innovation.

Thanks to this exclusive partnership, SKS Trading has become the sole official distributor of LCB Battery throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa. In 2023, the company expanded its portfolio with the launch of its own brand, SCALDIS.

To ensure sustained growth in the years ahead, Michel Sakkalis engaged FB Transmission to identify new partners who could support him in meeting future challenges.

This process brought together Olivier de Biolley, an experienced entrepreneur, and Briac Puel, a promising young sales professional. They embody complementary leadership, combining growth ambitions with respect for the founder’s legacy.

1. Even before the closing was finalized, the parties travelled together to Vietnam to visit the supplier’s production facility!
2. Michel Sakkalis retains an equity stake in the company, ensuring a smooth transition over the coming years.
