ARTICLE 1 – GENERAL PRINCIPLES
1.1 Family Business Advisory Services (FBAS) PLC with its registered office at 75 rue Beyaert, 7500 Tournai (Belgium), registered with the ECB under number 1009.711.996, hereinafter called FB-Transmission, operates a website via the address www.FB-Transmission.com (hereinafter the “Website”).
1.2 All personal data that we collect (hereinafter the “Data”) will be processed in accordance with the Belgian and European regulations applicable to the protection of personal data, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation, “GDPR”), Directive 2002/58/EC, as amended by Directive 2009/136/EC and the Act of 13 June 2005 known as the “Electronic Communications Act”, as amended by the Act of 10 July 2012.
1.3 You are invited to carefully read this Privacy Policy (hereinafter the “Privacy Policy”) and become familiar with its contents.
ARTICLE 2: SCOPE
2.1 The Privacy Policy describes the measures taken for the exploitation and management of your Data when using the Website and your rights as a user of the Website.
2.2 The Privacy Policy applies to all the services offered by FB-Transmission via the Website.

3.1 When you visit our Website, we may collect information (including the Data) in several ways:
3.1.1 Data provided by users. We collect the Data that you communicate on the Website in order to allow FB-Transmission to provide you with a service (data communicated via contact forms, for example).

ARTICLE 4: PURPOSE OF DATA PROCESSING
4.1 The Data we collect is used to process your request made to FB-Transmission and to respond to it as efficiently as possible.
4.2 We may use the Data collected ourselves or through various media for the purpose of promotional, commercial or informational communication. In this context, in order to enable you to make better use of the Website and to keep you informed of news about our company and our sector of activity, we can offer you free newsletters. Unless you object, if you have used the services of FB-Transmission, we may send you information electronically.
4.3 We may also use this Data to conduct research intended to improve our services.
4.4 We may disclose your Data if necessary to (a) comply with applicable law or satisfy any order or injunction from any court or tribunal, or (b) protect and defend our rights or those of the users of the Website.

5.2 To unsubscribe from our newsletters, you can exercise your right to object by clicking on the unsubscribe link located at the bottom of each of our newsletters. Unsubscribe requests are only effective if you receive a message of confirmation. If this is not the case, you may exercise the right to object as described in Article 6.1 of this Charter.
ARTICLE 6: RIGHT OF ACCESS, RECTIFICATION, DELETION AND LIMITATION OF PROCESSING
6.1 You have the right to access, rectify, delete and limit the processing of Data concerning you, in accordance with Articles 15, 16, 17 and 18 of the GDPR.

6.3 Before responding to a request to this effect, we may invite you to identify yourself.
ARTICLE 7: RIGHT OF PORTABILITY
7.1. You also have the right to receive Data that concerns you and that you have provided to FB-Transmission in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format as well as the right to transmit it to another data controller when the processing of such Data is carried out by means of automated processes.
ARTICLE 8: COOKIES
8.1 Cookies are data sent to your terminal from your browser when you visit the Website and include a unique identification number. Cookies make it possible to simplify access to the Website as well as browsing and increase speed and efficiency. They can also be used to individualise the Site according to your personal preferences. Cookies also make it possible to analyse the use of the Website.

In accordance with the law of 13 June 2005 relating to electronic communications, these cookies do not collect any information enabling the personal identification of the Internet user and as they are set up strictly for their technical functionality they do not require the express consent of the subscriber.
8.3. In accordance with the law of 13 June 2005 relating to electronic communications, your agreement is not required when the installation of a cookie has the exclusive purpose of allowing or facilitating communication by electronic means or is strictly necessary for the provision of an online service at your express request (session cookies).
8.4. In the case of advertising cookies, your agreement or refusal is materialised to us by the configuration of your browser software or by the configuration of any other technical means supported by the Website and enabling us to manage your browsing on the Website.
8.5 You can refuse the installation of technical cookies by following the procedures described below depending on your browser software.
8.6. FB-Transmission informs you that disabling cookies can affect optimal browsing and functionality of the Website.
8.7. You always have the option of deleting accepted cookies. If you wish to delete cookies, the settings or preferences controlled by these cookies will also be deleted.
ARTICLE 9: SAFEGUARDING
In order to ensure the protection of the Data collected, we have implemented a program to secure the information stored in these systems. In addition, our computer systems have data encryption and a software protection device.
ARTICLE 10: RIGHT OF COMPLAINT
Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial appeal, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your usual residence, place of work or place of the alleged violation if you consider that the processing of your Data violates the GDPR.
