FB Transmission is a M&A firm whose vision is to perpetuate family businesses and ensure their transmission. Our firm assists managers in their projects of transfer, acquisition, transmission, or valorisation of a company.
Active throughout Belgium, FB Transmission is one of the leading independent firms in French-speaking Belgium. We actively prospect when it comes to finding counterparties and are particularly well suited to facilitate negotiations with potential buyers based in Flanders, France, or other foreign countries, thanks to our multilingual team of experienced professionals.
Our firm is also founding member op the UPIC, the professional union of intermediaries in business transfers.
With FB Mediation, we are also active in the prevention and resolution of conflicts in family businesses.
Our history
Family Business Transmission was founded in 2008 in Tournai by Tanguy della Faille and Esteban Diez. The firm is acknowledged by the main players in the field of transmission and is growing rapidly.
In 2015, the firm acquired ERP software and a back office, prerequisite for further development. Several offices are opened: Mons with Pietro Zimbili, Brussels with Stéphanie Vanlier and Antwerp with Roland De Wolf.
In 2021, FB Mediation is launched, the first firm dedicated to mediation and conflict resolution for family businesses.
In October 2022, Family Business Transmission changes its name to FB Transmission. In December, the Namur office is inaugurated under the leaderschip of Philippe Hennebert.
In 2023, FB Transmission opens in Liège and takes over the activities of Nextep in Mons.
